The large thumbscrew made attaching it to my binoculars effortless, and the adapter feels solidly built. I've been using it for about a week, and the threaded mount fits perfectly into my tripod.

I was worried my older binoculars wouldn't be compatible, but the standard 1/4"-20 socket fit perfectly. Attaching it was a breeze with the large thumbscrew, and now my view is completely stable for birdwatching.

I was a bit worried the adapter might feel flimsy, but the metal foot is surprisingly solid and the thumbscrew tightened my binoculars perfectly. Been using it for a few weeks now and the whole setup stays rock steady on my tripod.
