The way this hood clicks onto my 52mm lens is rock solid, and it's already saved me from a few rain splashes during an outdoor shoot. Flare on my backlit shots is basically gone now, and contrast looks noticeably punchier.

The bayonet mount clicks on solidly, no wobble at all, and it’s done a great job keeping rain off my front element during a misty hike. Contrast did look noticeably punchier in backlit shots, though I wish the hood were a touch deeper for tighter framing.
