The silicone has a nice grippy texture that makes holding the remote much more secure. I was worried about dust getting in, but the cutouts are precise and the covers seal nicely.

Dropped it twice this week and the silicone absorbed both impacts without a scratch, which is exactly what I needed. The texture also keeps it from sliding off the couch armrest. Only wish it came in a darker color to hide dust, but it does its job.

The silicone has just enough grip that my remote doesn’t slide off the arm of the couch anymore, and the cutouts line up exactly with every button. Already saved my remote from a toddler’s juice spill with the liquid defense.
