The foam inside holds my Hero 3 snugly even after tossing it in a backpack all day, and the hard shell gives me real peace of mind on hikes. It’s compact enough to slip into a side pocket, but I wish the zipper felt a bit more premium, though it’s held up fine so far.

Sturdy little case, and the foam cutouts keep the camera snug without any rattling when I toss it in my backpack. It's compact enough to fit in a side pocket, which is exactly what I needed for day hikes.
