Orange Dual Baby 100 Amp Head - Pack'm & Rack'm

When just one blistering lead channel isn't enough, there's the incredibly portable Orange Dual Baby. It's a behemoth in a pint-sized package that offers two channels of lead-playing possibilities. Weighing only just over 3 kg and with a minimal footprint, Dual Baby can effortlessly power any monster cab.

This simple A and B channel design means duelling lead tones and/or alternating rhythm opportunities abound. Channel A mimics the rich and responsive tone of our flagship Rockerverb amps in a reliable solid-state design. From clean, to crunch, to full-on saturation, there's no shortage of Orange mojo. There's also a brand-new Tubby switch, which boosts the bottom-end early in the signal chain - ideal for creating a "rounder" tone when playing clean or when searching for just the right "dirty-clean" sound.

Channel B, with its 4 gain stages, allows players to dial in exactly the desired level of grit, from clean to crunchy and everywhere in between, with ample saturation and a valve-like "edge-of-breakup" tone unheard of in any other solid-state unit. The Tight switch gives the amp spring and bounce at lower gain levels for players who really want to tighten up and shred. Tweak frequencies with the 3-band sweepable EQ and presence controls to add shimmer or dial in mids that sit perfectly in the mix.

Variable output options like a balanced DI XLR out for adding IRs later within your DAW along with dual speaker outputs for utilizing multiple cabs makes the Dual Baby super flexible.

Product Features:

Tubby Switch

Channel A's Tubby switch adds heft to clean and edge-of-break-up lead tones, offering an even broader range of voicing options.

Tight Switch

Get tighter with an instant "bright boost" on Dual Baby's B Channel. It raises the top end at lower gain levels to give blistering solos even more cut.

Pack up and Play

Pack this Baby up in the included gig bag or rack it up with optional rack ears, no sweat!

Joshua ★★★★★

The power transformer hums at idle but the bite when I dig in is pure British crunch—this little box weighs nothing and still shakes the room. My back thanks me at load-in, and the clean channel takes my pedalboard without flinching.

Evelyn ★★★★★

The dual channels let me switch between a crunchy rhythm tone and a singing lead without touching a pedal. It's surprisingly loud for its size, easily cutting through a full band mix at rehearsal.

Elizabeth ★★★★★

Took this little head to a band practice expecting to haul my big rig as a backup, but the two independent channels meant I could keep my clean tone on one and my dirt on the other without ever touching a pedal. It's surprisingly loud for something this size, and the whole thing fits in my gig bag's
